New orchestral album released: NMC D255

NMC have released an album of my orchestral music. There are four works, from 'The Hidden Landscape' written for the 1973 Proms, to 'The Crimson Bird,' (RPS commission, 2017). The recordings are by the BBCSO and the RTE NSO. The album was supported with a grant from the  PRSF Composers Fund.

Piano trio performance March 8th 2019

The Albany Piano trio gave a beautiful performance of my piano trio, in the Stoller Hall at Chetham's in Manchester, on International Women's Day 2019. It marked the end of a very busy week for me: a masterclass with young women composers at Manchester University, on Monday March 4th; BBCRadio 3 on Tuesday 5th (BBCSO Afternoon concert) and Wednesday 6th (In Tune) and a presentation and panel discussion at Chetham's on Thursday 7th.
